Fantastic Coffee!

This is the BEST coffee anywhere. Rich, aromatic and so fresh, and a win - win for everyone from farmer to end consumer. Well Done!

We met Elsy in January 2019 and her drive and determination as a single mother impressed us immediately—as did her scrumptious pineapple turnovers. Elsy and her family live less than a 10-minute drive from Ana's house in La Paz, Honduras, and both are members of the same coffee cooperative.

On a more serious note, Elsy survived an abusive relationship with her former husband and, since then, has decided to dedicate herself 100% to her farm, her family, and her own studies. She obtained her high school diploma only a few years ago and, as she shared with us, "better late than never!"

Her daughter, Keidy, is hoping to be able to study to become a certified coffee quality tester—a prestigious position in the world of coffee. Keidy insisted on showing us a folder of dozens of certificates and diplomas that her mother, Elsy, had earned over the past several years in this new chapter in her life. We're so proud to bring you this wonderful family's coffee.

Tasting Notes: Elsy's coffee, our lightest roast so far, brings out noticeable flowery and citrus flavors including black currant and clementines.

Region: La Paz
Country: Honduras
Variety: 80% Catimor (IHCAFE 90), 20% Catimor (Lempira)
